The Maldives Music & Arts Center (MMAC) has been a pillar ofartistic development in the Maldives since its establishment in 2010. With a
mission to enrich the cultural fabric of the nation, MMAC has dedicated itself
to enhancing the quality of music and arts education for primary, secondary
school children and youth. By fostering the growth of performing and visual
artists, the center facilitates the conception, production, and presentation of
artistic works that resonate with both creators and the community at large.

Officially registered under the Ministry of Education in 2010,MMAC quickly became recognized for its contributions to the arts, achieving the
status of an official center associated with the University of Cambridge by
2013. Over the past 15 years, the center has played a crucial role in nurturing
young talent, having established a platform for international music
examinations tailored for school children and youth. Each year, hundreds of
students in the Maldives participate in Trinity College London music and theory
exams, a testament to MMAC's commitment to providing high-quality artistic
education.

In addition to its educational initiatives, MMAC has consistently hosted talent shows and reality competitions, showcasing the incredible skills
of its students. Many prominent musicians and vocalists who have made
significant contributions to the Maldivian music scene are proud graduates of
MMAC, highlighting the impact of the center on the nation's artistic landscape.
